Ben Bowen is a preschool music teacher and children's entertainer whose sound and repertoire hearken back to the folk revivals of the 20s, 50s, and 80s. He holds an Hons BFA in Music from York University and is working on his MA in Musicology, his main area of research interest being the intersection of children's music and traditional folk music.
Ben believes that music and the arts play a crucial role in a child's social, physical, intellectual, and cultural development, and bases his teaching on a profound feeling of responsibility and privilege in helping children become aware, thoughtful, well-rounded future citizens of the global village.
